To us, a retreat should feel like your home away from home. Like the perfect day off.

You should be relaxed, well fed, inspired, and calm. These feelings are hard to come by during the hustle and bustle of life in general. The moments of peace can feel far and few between when you have a schedule full of work, sports, meetings, housework, volunteer commitments all while trying to fit in time with each other and for ourselves....it's exhausting reading the list!

While we love spending time with our families and friends, you don't have to pretend that sometimes a moment of solitude is exactly what you need. At least with us you don't have to pretend.

At White Trees Retreats, we get that as maybe an over-scheduled entrepreneur and/or a busy parent, you need time to recharge your batteries so you can have a full cup again.

CONNECTION

Connection is something we all need more of in todays world, and the opportunities to do that here are open to you from the people who attend during your stay, to your guides and hosts.

RECONNECT WITH YOURSELF

Imagine waking up, whatever time you choose, and rolling out of bed to look out the window at the lake welcoming you for the day ahead.

You step into your comfiest outdoor clothes, brush your hair and teeth and enjoy your cup of coffee on the deck in the warm, fresh air with the sound of the birds and the wind rustling the leaves in the trees.

You enjoy a leisurely breakfast, coffee or tea, connection with other guests and slow, peaceful moments that recharge you.

And then you see the dock, begging you to wander out to sit overlooking the water. The calmness and the beauty fill your senses.

You find yourself on the lake for the next hour or two, wondering if it's possible to stop time. And even though it isn't, you know that this moment will always hold a special place in your heart.

As you let yourself drift back to the retreat, you know that the rest of the day is yours, to spend exploring or creating or just being.

Part of what we do at White Trees Retreats is mindset work prior to your time with us. We have seen firsthand how much we hold onto things from our past, even from yesterday and it can cause us to be unable to wind down, refresh and reset. 

We incorporate a single group mindset training session into your retreat package where we will talk about different ways to set up daily routines, what limiting beliefs are and how they affect our daily lives and go deeper into tools to help with our mindset. You will receive a workbook to guide you, as well as, an inner child workbook, and of course, there will be time to review what to expect at your retreat and ask any questions to prepare you for your weekend.

Upon arrival, you will be given a tour of the property and will have time to get settled into your room where you will find a welcome package.

 

When you are ready, head over to the Retreat Centre to enjoy some charcuterie. The spread is designed to cover dinner and is the opportunity to chat with others at the retreat, get comfortable in your space and begin winding down for a weekend of relaxation and connection.

All of your meals will be taken care of. This will include charcuterie on Friday evening, healthy breakfasts on both days and for the day on Saturday, enjoy munching on many goodies in a bagged lunch throughout the day before enjoying a 3 course hot meal in the evening with the group.

You can participate in planned activities or spend your time relaxing on your own. The whole weekend is about giving you what you need to press pause and reset.

Our goal is to give you a weekend away to reconnect at the lake.

Friday Evening:

Arrive at White Trees Retreats

Tour of the property and your accommodations, welcome package

Enjoy a charcuterie board, refreshments and a calm evening in the retreat common area

Saturday:

Wake up/Breakfast

Morning Meditation

Walk through Grounding trails with Urban Poles (demo and instruction provided)

Return to a bagged lunch and some free time to relax 

Pottery Studio time - hand build a your own mug and enjoy getting lost in creativity

Wind down/get ready for dinner

Enjoy a 3 course catered meal with guests

Evening to yourself or spend the evening playing games and connecting in the common area

Weather permitting, gather around the Bon Fire with your lunch and enjoy roasting marshmallows for S'mores

Sunday:

Wake up/Breakfast 

Morning meditation and grounding walk

Prepare to head home, or enjoy another activity before heading home refreshed and rested
